Citizens Advice Barrow is looking for a compassionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Macmillan Welfare Benefits Adviser.
This rewarding role will support people affected by cancer, helping them access financial support, maximise their income and navigate welfare benefits during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a commitment to helping others and the ability to work sensitively with people facing difficult circumstances. Previous welfare benefits experience is not essential – full training and ongoing support will be provided.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone working in customer service, health, social care, housing, the voluntary sector or another people-focused role who is looking to develop a career in advice work.
