Are you a sports coach, PE graduate, sport/PE student or athlete looking for flexible work with children in Cardiff schools?
PE Direct is recruiting PE Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Cardiff, supporting PE lessons and providing general classroom cover during a busy term-time periods.
This role is ideal for university students, recent graduates and sports professionals who have experience working with children and want paid school-based PE/sport work
Your role as a PE Cover Supervisor:
- Lead and supervise PE lessons and sports activities
- Working with pupils across the secondary age range (11–16 years old)
- Encourage engagement, teamwork and positive behaviour
- Manage classrooms and deliver pre-set lesson plans
- Provide general cover when required
What we are looking for:
- Sports students, sports graduates, active athletes or experienced coaches
- Candidates with experience working with children (schools, coaching, camps, clubs – within the last 3 years)
- Confident leaders who can manage groups independently
- Enthusiastic, energetic and reliable individuals
- Access to transport for travel to schools in Cardiff
