The School of Visual & Performing Arts, Digital Skills and Foundation Learning is a vibrant and inclusive department committed to enabling all students to succeed. Our Foundation Learning provision fosters creativity, offering pathways in Performing Arts and Art, Design and Media and Supported Internships, maintaining a strong focus on developing employability and independent living skills.
We are seeking a motivated individual with experience and a genuine passion for supporting young people with a wide range of SEND needs within a supported internship context. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of how to support learners with high needs to access meaningful work placements and develop essential employability skills.
They will work collaboratively and creatively with colleagues, employers, families and external partners to ensure positive outcomes for students, supporting their transition into employment and greater independence.

Job Title: Supported Internship Facilitator (Fixed Term until 31.07.2027)
Salary: Job Family Group 4, SCP 22 £30,704 to SCP 26 £34,462 per annum (pro rata for part time)
Hours: 0.92 FTE, 37 hours per week, Term time only (over 40 weeks)
