Join a Growing Nationwide Service Business
We're looking for an organised and proactive Operations Administrator to join our friendly Head Office team.
We provide installation, repair and maintenance services for home technology including TV aerials and satellite systems, CCTV, alarms and other connected home solutions. Supporting a nationwide team of field engineers, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, has great attention to detail and takes pride in keeping things organised behind the scenes.
This is a busy administrative role where no two days are the same. You'll provide essential support to our Operations Managers, helping to keep our systems, records and documentation accurate and up to date while assisting with a wide range of business activities.
We're happy to consider flexible working arrangements or part-time hours (minimum 25 hours per week, salary pro rata) for the right candidate.
What You’ll be Doing
You'll provide administrative support across a variety of operational functions, including:
- General administration and data entry
- Compiling purchase records, invoices & receipts
- Maintaining accurate company records and databases
- Preparing reports, spreadsheets and operational documentation
- Fleet administration, including vehicle records and servicing documentation
- Facilities administration and supplier communications
- Health & Safety administration and record keeping
- Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Stock and equipment administration
- HR administration, including onboarding paperwork and training records
- Assisting with operational projects and completing delegated administrative tasks
- Communicating information with colleagues, engineers, suppliers and contractors
What We’re Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in an administration role
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook, internet and willing to learn new IT packages
- Comfortable working with databases and entering information accurately
- Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise tasks
- A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
- Professional, reliable and dependable
Experience within a logistics or field service environment would be an advantage but isn't essential.
