Personal Assistant for Leyla-Jayne
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and patient Personal Assistant to support our wonderful young girl, Leyla-Jayne, who has Chung-Jansen Syndrome and requires assistance to safely access her daily activities. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys making a meaningful difference in a child’s life and is confident providing calm, nurturing support.
About Leyla-Jayne
Leyla-Jayne is a bright, loving little girl who thrives with gentle encouragement, routine, and sensory-aware support. She uses a feeding tube (G-tube), and while experience is helpful, full training can be provided for the right person. She enjoys engaging with the world around her and benefits from support to access the community safely and comfortably.
Role Responsibilities
- Providing safe and confident support with Leyla-Jayne’s G-tube feeding (training available).
- Assisting her to access the community, including outings, activities, and appointments.
- Offering patient, child-centred care that respects her sensory needs and communication style.
- Ensuring her comfort, safety, and emotional wellbeing at all times.
- Working collaboratively with her family to maintain consistent routines and approaches.
Hours & Pay
- 4 hours per week during term time
- 8 hours per week during school holidays
- £18 per hour

Requirements
- A full driving licence is essential.
- Experience with tube feeding is preferred but not required — training will be provided.
- A caring, reliable, and child-focused approach.
- Willingness to learn and follow clear care instructions.
