We currently have a vacancy for a Goods In Supervisor at our Somercotes Depot. This role will ensure a smooth process of receiving goods and movement through to departments. You will be dealing with high volume and multiple daily deliveries. You will be required to a strong team player to lead and support whilst getting stuck in alongside the team of General Assistants. A keen eye for detail and a methodical and hands-on approach is vital within this fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a forklift truck licence; however full training will be provided.

What will you be doing as a Goods In Supervisor?
- Matching all deliveries with goods received note and purchase orders.
- Overseeing deliveries, including unloading, counting, and checking stock.
- Report any discrepancies
- Supervising the Goods In area and team members
- Organising weekly shift ROTAs
- Ensuring good housekeeping standards are maintained
- Supporting other departments as required
- Adhering to, and ensuring others are adhering to the Companies Health and Safety Policies
What do you need to be a Goods In Supervisor?
- Confidence using barcode scanners
- Excellent work ethic is required, as well as punctuality and reliability
- Good time management as you will be working at speed
- Good attention to detail and careful precision to meet ensure an accurate stock file is maintained
- Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Be proactive and confident in decision making.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Have a FLT licence, both counterbalance and reach (or prepared to obtain).
- Confident working alongside the depot management team
