The Role
• We are looking for a capable and experienced Housekeeper to join an established private household team.
• This is a practical, hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys maintaining a home to a beautifully kept standard and understands the rhythm and expectations of private residence work.
• The property is well run, with clear systems and a supportive team structure.
• You will work collaboratively with the existing team and other staff to ensure the house runs smoothly behind the scenes and remains consistently well presented.
Responsibilities
• Daily cleaning and upkeep of the home, ensuring rooms are immaculate but still feel lived-in and comfortable.
• Detailed care of bathrooms, kitchens, reception rooms, and bedrooms.
• Laundry and ironing, including care of delicate fabrics and structured wardrobe organisation.
• Linen management and seasonal wardrobe changes.
• Maintaining order in cupboards, storage areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Noticing what needs doing without being asked — from replenishing supplies to flagging maintenance issues.
• Providing service when required.
• Required to work 1 weekend a month.

• Reliable, steady, and consistent.
