What you'll do:
- Lead daily IT operations and ensure the reliability of business systems and infrastructure.
- Manage and support IT teams while promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement IT operational strategies that align with business objectives.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability across technology platforms.
- Coordinate infrastructure upgrades, system maintenance, and technology projects.
- Work closely with business leaders to identify technology needs and deliver practical solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and operational best practices.
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, service quality, and business continuity.
- Support disaster recovery planning and operational risk management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in IT operations, infrastructure, systems administration, or technology management is beneficial.
- Leadership or team management experience is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud technologies, networks, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on delivering reliable technology services.
