B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer – Rotary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join a well-established rotary aviation organisation based at Boscombe Down.
With over 40 years of heritage within the helicopter sector and a strong reputation for maintaining Leonardo aircraft, this is an excellent opportunity to join a professional and highly regarded engineering team operating within a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will be involved in both line and base maintenance activities across multiple facilities and customer locations, supporting high standards of aircraft availability, safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Certify maintenance work within the scope of company authorisations
- Carry out line and base maintenance activities on rotary aircraft
- Support off-site maintenance activities when required by operational demands
- Produce and communicate engineering reports to senior management
- Diagnose defects and analyse technical aircraft information
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory requirements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship across aircraft, components and documentation
- Liaise with operational crews to accurately define and record defects
- Support compliance with CAA, EASA and company procedures
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support operational efficiency
- Ensure facilities, equipment and work areas are maintained to a high standard
- Effectively manage maintenance activities under your control
Candidate Requirements:
- UK CAA/EASA B2 Licence
- Rotary-wing maintenance experience preferred
- Experience on Leonardo aircraft types would be advantageous
- Ability to demonstrate recency
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
- Eligible to live and work in the UK
- Able to obtain and maintain security clearance
