Role:
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our machining capabilities to meet the evolving needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving innovation and excellence in precision machining.
Responsibilities:
- Set, operate and program CNC Machines.
- Ability to work safely and comply with all HSE procedures.
- Clearly read and understand B.O.M. & drawing instructions.
- Produce components to a high standard of Quality.
- Maintain full material traceability.
- Complete documentation to a high standard.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Promote company values at all times.
- Assist in training where and when necessary.
- Ensure customer requirements are being achieved.
- Ensure best works practices are employed.
Requirements:
- Time served Machine Operator
- Experienced in operating Horizontal Boring Machines or Horizontal Machining Centers or Multitasking Lathes.
- Able to work in both Metric & Imperial units.
- Computer literate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to be proactive and problem solve with own initiative.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude, good time keeping and attendance, self-motivated.
- City and Guilds in Engineering / NC in engineering / or equivalent
