RME Consultants are recruiting for a dedicated and motivated Deputy Nursery Manager to join an exciting Nursery in Fleet, Hampshire.
Role - Deputy Nursery Manager
Hours - Monday – Friday
Location – Fleet, Hampshire
Contract - Permanent, Full time
Salary - Up to £34,000 per annum
Duties of the Deputy Nursery Manager:
- You will be working under the direction of the Manager and deputising when required.
- To ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted.
- To direct and support staff as agreed by the manager.
- To support the team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
- To provide high standards of care and early learning.
Requirements of Deputy Nursery Manager:
- Early Years Childcare Level 3 qualification or equivalent (please note, health and social care qualifications are not suitable)
- To ensure the provision of high standards of physical, personal, social and emotional care.
- To follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure and ensure all team members are able to do the same.
- Support all team members with the early identification and intervention for children with possible special needs and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate.
- To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
- To lead a team of professional workers and to ensure good practice at all times.
