Position: Full Time Horticulture Tutor for post 16 students who have SEND or EHWB for Craftworks College Charity part of The Brogdale CIC Group, based in Faversham.
Salary range: £18 - £20 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
Hours: Full Time Term Time Contract working Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm.
Start Date: Interviews being held in March
Brogdale CIC is looking for a Horticulture Tutor. The role will require you to inspire and teach young people who have special educational needs and or mental health concerns. We are looking for a teacher who has the ability to bring their experience to teach Horticulture and also work alongside our current staff in line with the college vision. The role would entail delivering the Horticulture qualification at our Walled Garden site and liaising with our Horticulture tutors in our sites in Swale and Ashford and liaison with our functional skills tutors to ensure continuity across the college.
Craftworks College as part of the Brogdale CIC Group works across 6 sites delivering education to disadvantaged and disabled young people in Swale and Ashford. For a little company there is a lot going on and we have been developing our college offer. The applicant will need to have an appropriate teaching qualification, relevant teaching experience, be computer literate and be able to self manage and work as part of a team.
