Salary: £70,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week in the office

The Role
They are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Commercial Manager to join their growing team based in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the commercial performance of multiple interior fit-out projects, ensuring profitability, contractual compliance, and successful project delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience within the construction or interior fit-out sector and a proven ability to manage commercial teams, client relationships, and project financials in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the commercial management of high-end interior fit-out projects
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, valuations, and final accounts
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure contractual compliance
- Monitor project profitability and identify commercial risks and opportunities
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and senior leadership teams
- Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and commercial performance
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management
- Support business growth through strategic commercial input
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and in line with client expectations
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within construction or interior fit-out
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and commercial procedures
- Excellent financial and analytical skills
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and commercial management software
- Full UK driving licence preferred
