Job Overview:
The Production Setter is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining bakery production line equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production. The role ensures machinery is correctly configured to meet product specifications and production targets.
Main Duties:
· Set up production lines and machinery (conveyors, depositors, hopper toppers, etc…) in line with production schedules
· Adjust machine settings to ensure product quality (weight, size, etc.)
· Carry out product changeovers quickly and efficiently to minimise downtime
· Monitor equipment during production and make adjustments where required
· Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues
· Work closely with Operators and engineering department to ensure smooth line performance
· Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment
· Ensure all settings meet food safety and quality standards
· Ensure all settings meet health and safety standards.
· Minimise downtime and improve line efficiency
· Ensure fast and accurate product changeovers
· Maintain consistent product quality
Support achieving production targets
Shift:
06:00 - 15:00, Monday - Friday
Pay: £12.95-£13.90 per hour
