Nursery Practitioner – Lichfield

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 0–5 throughout their daily routines and learning experiences. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities
- Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents
- Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
- Supporting the delivery of the Early Years curriculum
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and welfare
This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early years education and eager to make a positive impact during the first academic term.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, professionalism and a genuine passion for early years. The ideal candidate will have:
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (preferred)
- Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
- A caring, patient and supportive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- Creativity, initiative and a proactive attitude
- Reliability and a commitment to high‑quality childcare
