We're Hiring: Control Room Operator (Commissioning – Waste-to-Energy Facility)
We are seeking experienced Control Room Operators to join the commissioning team of a Waste-to-Energy (WtE) facility. This is a fixed-term position for the commissioning phase, offering the opportunity to be part of a challenging and dynamic project from startup through performance testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the plant from the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Support cold, hot, and performance commissioning activities.
- Monitor plant parameters and respond to alarms and process deviations.
- Coordinate with field operators, commissioning engineers, and maintenance teams.
- Execute operational procedures, startup, shutdown, and system testing.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Record operational data and maintain accurate shift logs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Control Room Operator in a power generation, Waste-to-Energy, biomass, thermal power, or industrial process plant.
- Experience with DCS operation during commissioning is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of plant processes and safety procedures.
- Ability to work rotating shifts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Fluent English (additional languages are an advantage).
