Zen Educate is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join a specialised school in Cheltenham for a full-time role. We are looking for an empathetic and resilient individual who is comfortable providing personal care to students with a wide range of complex needs.
The Role
You'll be working in a well-regarded school that provides a safe and supportive learning environment for pupils aged 2 to 19. The school's mission is to provide an individualised and creative curriculum to meet the diverse needs of its students, including those with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism.
This role requires a hands-on approach, including the provision of personal care. You will be a vital part of the team, assisting students with:
- Toileting and nappy changing
- Feeding and mealtime support
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Dressing and personal hygiene
