Duties
- Deliver high-quality hair styling and barbering services tailored to client preferences
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly and understanding their needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment
- Schedule appointments efficiently and manage client bookings
- Offer professional advice on hair care, styles, colours, and grooming options
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to during service delivery
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded
- Stay updated with current trends in hair styling and barbering techniques
Skills
- Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering environment
- Skilled in hair styling, barbering, and related grooming services
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients
- Organised with the ability to manage appointments efficiently
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to personal grooming services
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
