Commercial ExecutiveWe are looking for an energetic, commercially driven Commercial Executive to help build and grow a significant non-matchday events business from the ground up.We are seeking someone entrepreneurial, proactive, and relationship-focused who thrives on outbound sales, developing pipelines, creating opportunities, and turning vision into revenue.The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and commercialising a premium events proposition during an exciting period of growth and transformation.The RoleThe Commercial Executive will lead the proactive sales and commercial development of the venue’s non-matchday events offering, driving revenue across:
- Conferences & banqueting
- Corporate events
- Weddings & celebrations
- Private hire
- Christmas parties
- Live events & entertainment
- Fan zone activations
- Premium hospitality experiences
This role will focus heavily on outbound business development, strategic relationship building, networking, pipeline generation, and converting opportunities into long-term commercial value.You will work closely with Marketing, Hospitality, Operations, and Commercial teams to position the venue as one of the region’s leading destination event spaces.Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline using HubSpot CRM
- Drive proactive outbound business development activity
- Generate new opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship management
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings and long-term client relationships
- Develop and deliver sales strategies to support ambitious revenue targets
- Conduct venue tours, presentations, and client meetings
- Collaborate on marketing campaigns, launches, and promotional activity
- Support the launch and commercialisation of premium hospitality and event spaces
- Identify new products, experiences, and revenue opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting through CRM systems
- Represent the business professionally across events and business communities
