Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring environments are tidy, safe, and welcoming for clients and staff alike. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and possess strong communication skills. Prior experience is not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are stored correctly and replenished as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly.
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks upon request, such as carpet or window cleaning.
- Ensure all areas are kept organised and free from hazards to promote a safe environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to understand specific cleaning requirements.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential or Airbnb cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites.
- Good command of English language skills for clear communication with colleagues and clients.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to respond politely and professionally to client requests.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within a team and report issues accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, organised, and attentive to detail to ensure consistent quality of work.
