Summary
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with outstanding track records, to work predominantly across lower KS2.
We are looking for a candidate with excellent practice and a strong commitment to working as part of a team who are keen to support the development of our pupils education across the school. Under the teachers clear guidance, in respect of their work with individuals or small groups, to support the education, personal and social development of the pupils in the class including those with special educational needs and to establish positive relationships with pupils and assist them to complete structured learning activities.
This position is temporary from 1st September 2026 to 20th July 2027, full time, term time only. Please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
The working hours are 30 hours per week Monday to Friday 8.30am till 3.30pm (with an unpaid 30-minute lunchbreak) paid at TA2B, plus half an hour each day welfare responsibilities paid at Foundation Living Wage.

Essential Qualifications
- Level 2 or equivalent qualifications at Grade C or above in Maths/Numeracy and English/Literacy
NVQ level 2 or above Teaching Assistant certificate (or equivalent) appropriate to the post

Experience of working with children or caring for children across KS1 and lower and upper KS2
Desirable Experience
- Working with children across the age ranges in a primary school setting.
Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour
