Family Coordinator (x2 Roles – Separate Teams)
Location: Anlaby, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU10 6UE
Pay: £15.12 per hour (PAYE) / £19.10 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Temporary (until September)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Seven Resourcing is currently recruiting two Family Coordinators to join services within Children’s Services in East Riding of Yorkshire. These are two distinct vacancies working across separate teams, both focused on supporting children, young people, and families to achieve better outcomes through early intervention and targeted family support.
One role sits within the Children with Disabilities (CwD) Team, working with children and young people with complex needs and disabilities. The second role sits within a wider Family Support / Early Help function, supporting children and families through whole-family assessments and early intervention planning. Both roles work closely with partner agencies, social workers, and family support workers to deliver coordinated, holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct support to children, young people, and families in line with Child in Need and Early Help frameworks
- Undertake whole-family assessments and develop outcome-focused family support plans
- Coordinate and lead the Team Around the Family (TAF) process to ensure effective multi-agency working
- Work closely with social workers, family support workers, and partner agencies to deliver joined-up interventions
- Identify safeguarding concerns and respond appropriately in line with local policies and procedures
- Ensure the voice of the child and family is central to all planning and decision-making
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach
- Maintain accurate case records and produce high-quality reports for meetings, reviews, and safeguarding processes
- Work flexibly across the locality, including home visits, early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekend work where required
- Contribute to continuous service improvement and reflective practice within the team
Requirements:
- Relevant Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Early Years, Childcare, Education, Health, or Social Care
- Experience working directly with children, young people, or families (including childcare experience)
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and information-sharing procedures
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-agency environment
- Commitment to trauma-informed, strengths-based practice
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the service
- Fluency in spoken English, in line with Immigration Act 2016 requirements
