Overview
CompliPass is a newly launched UK SaaS platform helping sole traders and small businesses stay compliant through professional compliance documentation, regulatory updates and ongoing business support.
We are looking for a Founding Chief Commercial Officer to work directly with the Founder and help lead the commercial growth of the company.
This is an equity-based leadership opportunity. There is no fixed salary or monthly retainer at this stage. The role is suited to someone who understands early-stage startups, is commercially ambitious, and wants to help build a company from the ground up with meaningful long-term upside.
The platform is live, the core framework is in place, and we are now focused on customer acquisition, sales execution, strategic partnerships and early revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the commercial growth strategy for CompliPass
- Build and manage B2B sales pipelines across target sectors
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with relevant organisations
- Create commercial routes to market, including partnerships, referrals and direct outreach
- Support the Founder with revenue strategy, pricing, positioning and growth planning
- Help structure the sales process, follow-up process and partnership approach
- Identify opportunities with accountants, associations, training providers, insurers, trade bodies and business support organisations
- Support funding, grant and investor conversations where appropriate
- Help turn CompliPass from a newly launched platform into a scalable commercial operation
About the Candidate
We are looking for someone with strong commercial instincts and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- B2B sales
- SaaS or technology growth
- Strategic partnerships
- Business development
- Commercial leadership
- Startup growth
- Channel partnerships
- Revenue generation
- Fundraising or grant strategy
You do not need to come from the compliance industry, but you should understand how to build relationships, open commercial conversations and create growth opportunities.
The right person will be practical, proactive and comfortable working in an early-stage environment where the focus is on execution, learning quickly and building momentum.
Compensation
This is an equity-based role. There is currently no fixed salary or monthly retainer.
The successful candidate will receive meaningful equity in the business, with the opportunity for the role to transition into a paid executive position as the company grows and revenue increases.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who is excited by early-stage company building and is comfortable being rewarded through long-term upside rather than immediate cash compensation.
