We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and ambitious Nursery Lead to lead our thriving nursery provision and inspire our youngest learners through outstanding Early Years practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Years practitioner who is passionate about helping children flourish through high-quality play, meaningful relationships and ambitious learning experiences.
As Nursery Lead, you will play a key role in shaping children's first experiences of school, ensuring they feel safe, valued and inspired to become confident, curious and independent learners.
Working closely with our Headteacher, EYFS Lead and wider staff, you will lead the day-to-day operation of our nursery, creating an exceptional environment where children thrive and families feel welcomed and valued.
As Nursery Lead, you will:

Lead the day-to-day organisation and development of our nursery.

Create an inspiring, engaging and stimulating learning environment both indoors and outdoors.

Deliver an ambitious curriculum in line with the EYFS Statutory Framework.

Lead, support and motivate nursery staff, modelling outstanding practice

Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.

Promote children's independence, confidence, communication and emotional wellbeing.

Monitor children's progress and ensure every child achieves their full potential.

Work closely with Reception colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful transition into school.

Promote the highest standards of safeguarding, care and inclusion.
We are looking for someone who:

Holds a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 3 or above, recognised by the Department for Education for inclusion in the EYFS staff:child ratios.

Has substantial experience working within an Early Years setting.

Has experience of leading or supervising other adults.

Demonstrates an excellent understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and child development.

Is passionate about providing exceptional learning experiences for young children.

Can inspire, motivate and support colleagues.

Builds positive relationships with children, families and staff.

Has high expectations for children's learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

Is committed to inclusion and ensuring every child succeeds.
