Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Part-time Domestic Cleaner to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within clients’ homes, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort. This role offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time work, with opportunities to develop skills in cleaning and customer service. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. A positive attitude and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential properties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Maintain organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned to a high standard, paying special attention to kitchens and bathrooms.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the supervisor.
- Respect clients’ privacy and preferences while delivering exceptional service.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled appointments.
- Uphold health and safety standards at all times during cleaning procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is desirable but not mandatory.
- Basic cooking skills are a plus for assisting with light meal preparations if required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning.
- Reliable transportation or proximity to the work locations is preferred.
- Willingness to undertake training related to cleaning techniques and health & safety protocols.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing high-quality service are essential for this role.
Pay: From £15.00 per hour
