Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years Educators to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. We are looking for experienced staff to work with children aged 3 months to 4 years.. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that encourages the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years. Your leadership skills will be essential in managing daily activities and ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Duties
- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
- Create a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their wellbeing at all times.
- Observe and assess children's development, documenting their progress and communicating findings to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans that align with early years standards.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the nursery's educational offerings and maintain high standards of care.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential.
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A passion for nurturing children's development and promoting their learning experiences.
- Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the quality of care provided within the nursery setting.
