Mechanical Maintenance Engineer — Days Only, £40k–£45k
No shifts. No nights. No weekends. Just a solid Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm role with great pay and full training provided.
We're recruiting on behalf of an established site looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team of 12. You'll be carrying out inspections, maintenance, and swap-outs on plant equipment including pumps, pipework, and tanks.
What you'll be doing:
Routine and planned inspections across site plant and equipment
Maintenance and swap-outs on pumps, pipework, and tanks
Working alongside an experienced 12-strong engineering team
Full training provided — no specific qualification required
What we're looking for:
A solid mechanical background — engineering, maintenance, or similar hands-on trade, at least 5 years experience
Experience working with hazardous chemicals or in a hazardous environment is ideal but not essential
Reliable, practical, happy to learn site-specific processes
