Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm
Pay Rate: £13.05 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Delivery Driver to join a small, close-knit warehouse team based in Armagh. This is a dual-role position involving warehouse operations such as picking and packing orders, as well as occasional local deliveries using company vehicles.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable employment with the potential to transition from a temporary to permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Clear and process orders from the previous day’s workflow
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement and organisation
- Carry out quality checks to ensure order accuracy before dispatch
- Load and unload goods safely and in line with company procedures
- Complete occasional local deliveries as required
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
- Work collaboratively as part of a small warehouse team (approx. 10 staff)
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Full, valid driving licence (essential)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred)
- Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking/packing
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required
- Basic understanding of health and safety in a warehouse setting
