Handmade cake company Ridiculously Rich by Alana are looking for enthusiastic temporary staff to join their team at the Royal Welsh Show, serving customers their delicious tray bake cakes, coffees and refreshments with a smile!
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain an appealing cake display for customers
- Display excellent customer service skills and promote the products available
- Using your product knowledge to upsell products and assist customers with enquiries
- Serving cakes, coffees and other drinks throughout the day
- Maintaining and reporting stock levels and product performance to management
- Keeping a high level of cleanliness and health and safety
- Providing general support on the stand as required
Applicants must be over 18 years of age. The role will require standing for long periods of time and working in a busy event environment.
No previous event or market trading experience is required, but a friendly, positive and hardworking attitude is essential.
The Royal Welsh Show runs from 20th–23rd July. These will be long days, with an expected 6am pickup and returning home between 7pm–8pm, depending on traffic. National Living Wage will be paid, with half pay provided for travel time to and from the showground and normal pay whilst working on the stand.
Staff working consecutive days or all four days will have the option to camp on-site if preferred. Availability across multiple days is desirable.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
