**Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated **Part time Barista / All-Rounder** to join our team, primarily based at our **North Street store around 16-20 hours . The successful candidate must be **flexible and willing to work across all locations.
You will play a key role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, delivering high standards of customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment.
**Responsibilities**
* Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including food preparation areas, equipment, and dining spaces.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices at all times.
* Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies.
* Collaborate with team members to promote a positive, efficient, and supportive work environment.
* **Carry out cash handling responsibilities, including operating the till and completing end-of-day cashing up procedures.**
* Uphold high standards of quality in all food preparation and service tasks.
**Skills & Requirements**
* Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse customer base.
* Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask during busy periods.
* Familiarity with POS systems and confident cash handling skills.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the food industry.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong sales skills to confidently promote menu items.
