As a Senior AV Technician at Quadrant Events you'll be at the heart of our dynamic event production process working across Operations / AV Hire & Events. You’ll contribute to the success of our internal operations and maintenance of kit, as well as delivering, setting up and operating AV equipment on site. You will have the opportunity for career progression, enabling you to work on the delivery of events for prestigious corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Equipment Management
· Efficiently prepare and test AV equipment for hire and events, ensuring all deadlines are met
· PAT testing
· Load and unload vehicles, ensuring safe and secure transport of all equipment in accordance with ISO procedures
Warehouse Operations
· Conduct general maintenance tasks to ensure smooth warehouse operations
· Check equipment back in from hire and events, verifying its condition and readiness for future use
· Travel between branches and suppliers as needed to support operations
On site Delivery & Set up of AV Kit
· Punctual good time keeping
· Ensure all equipment is set up and tested before hand over and operation.
· Be prepared to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
· Maintain clear communication with clients
· Professional and solution-oriented attitude
Team Development
· Set an excellent example to others at all times
· Use your experience to encourage your colleagues to lean and expand their knowledge
· Work collaboratively with your colleagues and provide leadership to the technical team wherever possible
Company Procedures
· Adhere to all company policies, especially regarding Health & Safety
· Participate in ongoing training programs relevant to your role
· Use the Hirehop stock system as trained, following approved procedures
· Support the events team when required, ensuring seamless event execution and client satisfaction
Role Requirements:
Essential
· a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
· Full UK clean driving license
· Proficient with AV equipment including streaming
· Flexible with working hours, willing to travel and work non-standard hours
· Strong communication skills with the ability to work both independently and within a team
· Adaptable and resourceful, ability to think on your feet.
· Committed to on-going learning and professional development.
· Good time keeping
