£15.00 – £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Bon Decor are seeking an experienced Painter and Decorator to join our small, unique, family-run firm.
We are a growing business with an expanding workload, working alongside builders and within a range of private period homes. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional finishes using premium products.
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy individual who can work independently and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (some locations are not accessible via public transport)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Painter and Decorator
- Strong paper hanging skills
- Experience in residential/domestic painting and decorating
- Ability to prepare a variety of surfaces and apply finishes to a professional standard
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
Desirable Skills
- Spray painting experience
- Ability to work at height
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces including filling, sanding, stripping wallpaper, and priming
- Applying paints, stains, varnishes, and wallpaper to interior and exterior surfaces
- Protecting furniture and flooring with appropriate coverings
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Delivering excellent customer service with professional and respectful communication

Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break
- Occasional overtime may be required to complete projects
Pay: £15.00-£17.00 per hour
