About the Role:
2 - 3 months work available.
We’re looking for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our hardworking and friendly team. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling across the local area, helping to keep our community clean and tidy.
While the core hours are Monday to Friday, 06:30 – 15:00, flexibility is essential as routes can overrun, and weekend shifts (including some Saturdays and Sundays) will be required throughout the festive period to ensure continuity of service.
Pay Scale: Highly competitive rates

- Sunday & Bank Holidays: x2
- Festive Period (selected days): x3
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently
- Assisting with loading duties when required
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any faults promptly
- Ensuring the safety of crew members, the public, and the vehicle at all times
- Representing the company in a professional and courteous manner
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid HGV Cat C Licence
- Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
- Flexible approach to overtime and weekend work
- A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
