Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 2 Hotbox Driver to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating a flatbed lorry equipped with a hotbox, ensuring timely delivery of goods to various locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 flatbed lorry fitted with a hotbox for the transportation of goods.
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety compliance.
- Load and secure cargo appropriately on the flatbed, ensuring stability during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Follow all road safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status or issues encountered on route.
- Report any vehicle defects or accidents promptly to management for appropriate action.

- Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly as a delivery driver.
- Valid Class 2 driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating flatbed vehicles and handling cargo securely.
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and professionalism on the road.
