We are currently seeking Domestic Assistants for Abbey House, Care Home.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable and have the ability to work independently. We are praised on the standard of cleanliness for our care homes and require someone with a passion for cleaning, attention to detail and ideally with experience in a similar role.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and maintaining resident rooms, public corridors and staff areas
- Making beds by removing and replacing sheets and pillow cases
- Cleaning floors by washing, vacuuming floors and deep clean.
- Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture
- Maintaining a safe, secure, and clean working environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, C.O.S.H.H regulations.
- Reporting defects, damage and hazards to the management team
- Be able to work individually and as part of a team
- Offering visitors a friendly and professional welcome
