Summary
In the role of Kitchen Assistant, you will support the culinary team by ensuring efficient food preparation and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food safety and kitchen experience to assist with meal preparation and food handling. Your premium skills in catering and restaurant experience will enhance the overall dining experience. By contributing to a well-organized kitchen, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring customer satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all meals prepared.
- Support chefs in cooking and meal preparation tasks as needed.
- Serve food to customers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Experience if possible
- Familiarity with restaurant environments and serving techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
