Monday to Friday | 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
Venatu Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver on behalf of our client based in the DN15 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking FLT Driver looking to secure temporary day shift work.
The successful candidate must hold a valid, in-date Counterbalance licence.
This is a predominantly FLT-based role; however, the successful candidate will also be expected to support with general warehouse operative duties as required, including Goods In, Goods Out, stock handling, and other warehouse tasks. Therefore, applicants must be comfortable working both on and off the truck.
As an FLT Driver/Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role within the warehouse operation, ensuring stock is moved safely and efficiently throughout the site while supporting the wider warehouse team and maintaining excellent health and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently within the warehouse
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking, moving, and transferring stock across the warehouse
- Carrying out stock replenishment duties
- Completing daily pre-shift FLT safety checks
- Moving stock around the warehouse
- Assisting with goods in and goods out activities
- Reporting any faults or damages to equipment immediately
- Assisting with general warehouse duties where required
- Adhering strictly to all company health and safety procedures and MHE operating guidelines
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
Requirements:
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance licence (essential)
- Previous experience working as an FLT Driver
- Reach Truck licence desirable but not essential
- Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
