We are currently seeking a Senior Tutor and Pastoral Support Officer to join our dedicated team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young peoples academic progress and personal development.
This position is term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.
Full Time Equivalent Salary (£36,363 - £40,777)
Pro rata salary £32,367 - £36,296
As a Senior Tutor and Pastoral Support Officer, you will play a key role in guiding students through their educational journey, offering both academic support and pastoral care. You will work closely with students, parents, teachers, and other staff members to ensure each students wellbeing and success.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with young people
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Empathy, patience, and understanding towards students individual needs
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
