Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled manufacturing Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to join our team in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and servicing plant machinery, general factory maintenance and will be responsible for external contractors. This will be a position where the successful candidate will be working by themselves and will be responsible for their own workload. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Hours will 36 hours per over 5 days (Monday to Friday)
Responsibilities
- General maintenance
- Servicing of textile manufacturing machines.
- Develop machine maintenance schedules
- Control of parts and other maintenance inventory.
- Liasing with external contractors and arranging servicing and calibration visits.
- Knowledge of health and safety
- Be computer Literate with a knowledge of Excel
