We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary schools in Low Fell and surrounding areas. This role is available immediately and offers the chance to make a real impact on children's education and development.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support, working closely with the teacher to enhance learning
- Assist with small group work and one-to-one interventions
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
- Support children with their academic, social, and emotional development
- Prepare learning materials and contribute to lesson planning
- Work with children with additional learning needs, adapting support accordingly
About You:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential
- Experience working in a primary school setting is desirable
- A patient, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting young learners
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for helping children reach their full potential
