Temp All Staffing Ltd are seeking a reliable Welder / Fabricator long-term basis on behalf of our client. The role will primarily involve MIG and Stick welding, manufacturing, and repairing rebar cages, moulds, and steel plates used within a busy production environment.
During quieter periods within the welding department, the successful candidate will be required to assist with general duties supporting production operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MIG and Stick welding to a high standard.
- Fabricate, repair, and modify rebar cages, steel moulds, and steel plates.
- Read and interpret basic fabrication drawings where required.
- Ensure all welding work meets quality and safety standards.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance of welding equipment.
- Assist with material handling and preparation of components for fabrication.
- Support the concrete production team with general duties during quieter periods.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Adhere to all company health and safety procedures.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in MIG and Stick welding is essential.
- Experience fabricating rebar cages, moulds, or structural steelwork would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
- Flexible approach to work and willingness to assist in other areas when required.
