Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the childcare setting, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. Applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and alone. Please note that we require someone EVERY evening Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, toilets, bathrooms, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment efficiently and safely
- Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and deadlines
- Interact courteously with clients and staff, providing excellent customer service when required
- Follow health protocols, including COVID-19 safety measures, to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
- Good command of English is necessary for effective communication with team members and clients
- Excellent communication skills are essential for understanding instructions and reporting issues effectively

Pay: £12.71 per hour
