We are currently looking for a female Support Worker to join our team in Sutton. We provide specialist support and care to people who have a wide range of support needs from learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex mental health issues.
About the role:
The focus of this role is to help the people we support to live happy and fulfilling lives and give them the daily routine of a regular life. You will get huge job satisfaction from seeing the people you are supporting do more for themselves and live the life they want to live.
This is a 11 bed support living service. The people we support here have learning and physical disabilities and are non verbal so good communication skills are a must. You will provide full personal care from washing, feeding and getting them dressed. People we support here use wheelchairs therefore, this role requires manual handling and the use of hoists.
Sensory activities, music, swimming and bowling are some of the main activities that the people enjoy!
This role is ideal for people committed to making a positive difference in individual’s lives, including experienced support workers, graduates and those seeking a stimulating career path into social care.

Hours:
We are looking for full time support workers that can work flexibly to cover shifts of 8am- 9pm and waking nights starting at 9pm - 8am
Location:
The service is located within a peaceful residential neighbourhood with good transport links and access to green spaces. The area benefits from a strong community feel and provides opportunities for people to engage in a range of social, educational, leisure, and vocational activities. Local amenities include supermarkets, pharmacies, cafés, parks, libraries, cinemas, leisure centre, and community venues for example Sutton inclusion centre. The service has easy access via public transport (bus station across the road and train station is a short walk). There is also free off street parking available.

We are looking for someone to join our team dedicated to supporting people to live their lives, have fun and feel good. You will work closely with each person and their families to ensure that their time is spent doing the things that matter to them, as well as discovering new things to do.
Whether you have years of support experience or no experience at all, if you are a caring person, passionate about empowering others and ready to learn new skills we want to speak to you! A full UK Driving Licence is desirable.
