Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across our commercial premises. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals seeking part-time employment, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services in a professional environment. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across designated commercial spaces, including offices and other business premises.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure surfaces, floors, and fixtures are hygienic and presentable.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks to the relevant department.
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security protocols during cleaning assignments.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients and team members.
- Physical capability to perform cleaning duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting light equipment or supplies as needed.
- Reliable with a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance.
