Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role:
Beep Beep Cars Ltd is an independent, family-run dealership based in Durham, known for our quality vehicles, excellent customer service, and trusted reputation across the North East.
We’re now looking for a skilled and dedicated Master Technician to join our growing aftersales team. This is a hands-on role for someone with technical expertise, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering first-time fixes and high-quality workmanship.
You’ll take a leading role within our workshop, helping diagnose complex faults, guiding other technicians, and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
The Role Includes:
- Taking a leading position in the workshop and providing technical guidance to other technicians.
- Diagnosing complex mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Performing advanced repairs, servicing, and diagnostic work on a wide range of vehicles.
- Carrying out Video Health Checks and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
- Supporting and mentoring junior technicians to improve skill levels and workshop performance.
- Ensuring a clean, organised, and safety-compliant workspace.
- Maintaining accurate records and following all company and FCA compliance standards.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience as a Master Technician or Senior Diagnostic Technician (any manufacturer background welcome).
- Can diagnose and repair complex faults confidently.
- Has pride in their work and is driven to deliver a great customer experience.
- Works efficiently and with excellent time management.
- Communicates clearly with customers and team members.
- Is enthusiastic about learning and embracing new vehicle technologies.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- (MOT testing certificate desirable but not essential.)
