Job Title: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon
Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday 8am-17.00pm
We are looking for a hands-on, driven Warehouse Team Leader to coordinate our daily shift operations. You will lead a team of operatives to keep our workflow moving efficiently, accurately, and safely. You will take natural ownership of your assigned zone, balance productivity targets with high standards, and motivate your team to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Direct, motivate, and assign tasks to warehouse operatives to hit daily performance targets.
- Shift Management: Oversee daily goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch workflows.
- Health & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with safety rules, PPE usage, and operational procedures.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock movements using our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Training & Development: Coach, onboard new hires, and provide constructive performance feedback to team members.
- Problem Solving: Address inventory errors, operational delays, or mechanical bottlenecks immediately to minimize downtime.
- Communication: Conduct shift briefings and deliver precise handover reports to incoming managers and teams.
What We Look For
- Experience: Minimum 1+ years leading or supervising a team within a logistics or warehouse environment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to deliver tasks clearly and liaise with management.
- Mindset: A proactive, adaptable "can-do" attitude with an eye for process improvements.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work designated shifts and assist operatives on the warehouse floor when required.
