SALARY: £14.55 per hour / £29,127.77 per annum
HOURS: 38.5 per week (7.30am to 4.00pm Monday to Thursday / 7.30am to 2.00pm Friday)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality components.
Responsibilities
- Complete all aspects of CNC/Machine operation, including machine setting and programme uploading.
- Ensure all fire and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Work in accordance with Company work instructions and operating procedures.
- Maintain high quality standards, ensuring all parts meet required specifications.
- Work safely and efficiently to support production targets and operational performance.
- Maintain production rates in line with daily schedules and efficiency targets.
- Carry out housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Follow Company procedures regarding timekeeping and absence reporting.
- To work off-site at the premises of any of the Company’s customers as deemed necessary.
- Be flexible in approach by undertaking unspecified other duties as deemed relevant by responsible managers and/or board members.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machines or working within a manufacturing/machine shop environment.
- Experience with machine setting, programming, uploading programmes and basic machine adjustments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work to technical specifications.
- CNC machining or engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, BTEC, or equivalent).
- Basic computer skills for programme uploading and production systems.
- Strong organizational and housekeeping

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety standards.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
Pay: £14.55 per hour
