We are advertising for a Care Assistant to join our team based at our Westoe Grange Care Home in South Shields.
The position is to work on day shift(s) Contracted hours are available at 27hrs per week. The rate of pay is £12.71 per hour and the hours will be a varied shift pattern to include weekends.
Hours will be a mixture of 7.30am – 2.45pm , 2.45pm -10pm and does include weekends
You don’t need to have previous care experience or qualifications to work with us, you'll have plenty of opportunity to progress and gain formal qualifications when you start.

What do Care Assistants do?
Care Assistants help us make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people, giving them the support they need to help them live independently.
As a care assistant you will be working with other Care Assistants to support our residents in all aspects of their day to day lives. You will be helping them with their personal care, social activities and assisting at mealtimes. The Senior Care Assistants and/ Nurses will be on hand to supervise you during your shift and offer you any support and guidance you need.
