Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join our team working across social housing properties throughout Hampshire. Our office is based in Fleet, Hampshire, with work carried out on various sites across the region.
The role will primarily involve void works and day-to-day repairs, ensuring properties are maintained and prepared for new tenants. The successful candidate will be reliable, capable of working across multiple trades, and able to complete works to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out void property works to prepare homes for new tenants
- Complete day-to-day repairs and maintenance within social housing properties
- Undertake a variety of trades including basic carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering, decorating, and general repairs
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Work within occupied and void properties while maintaining a professional standard
- Ensure work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative
- Experience working within social housing or property maintenance
- Ability to carry out a range of general trades to a good standard
- Own tools required
- Reliable with good timekeeping and communication
- Good communication skills when working in tenants’ homes
- Full UK driving licence required
