Over the last 14 years we have built great relationships with some of the most prestigious wedding venues in the area. Your role will be to maintain and grow these relationships by delivering fantastic food and service when you run weddings and events at these venues.
Job description
As a Wedding and Events Planner, you will be passionate about hospitality and your warm, genuine personality will shine through as you welcome new clients and maintain relationships already established in a diligent and professional manner.
You will be working directly alongside the wedding and events manager supporting them in their day-to-day administrative tasks, including:
- Dealing with initial email Wedding and Event enquiries, and subsequently following up with potential new leads.
- Ensuring all details for bookings are kept efficiently and information is handed over to the relevant departments on time.
- This is a varied role combining office-based planning at our kitchens, on-site delivery of weddings and events with our team, and flexible home-based working.
- Run tasting sessions here at our kitchens for our couples, scheduling a time and date, and on the day, laying up the tasting room and serve the food, build a good relationship with the client and answer any questions they have about their menu, the logistics for the day or about the business.
You will run catering on the day of the wedding, overseeing the Front of House team and delivering seamless service of food and drinks.
The successful candidate for this role will:
- Have great leadership skills; you will be able to motivate and lead a team of waiting staff on the day of the wedding or event.
- You will need to be able to coach and train new and existing staff to the company standard.
- Have excellent administration skills and reporting ability along with experience in working across multiple projects at any one time.
- You should have excellent written, oral communication skills, computer skills and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- The role will be best suited to someone with a background in hospitality events, hotels or restaurants.
- Due to the traveling to events and the location of our kitchens you will need your own transport. It would be advantageous to live within fairly close proximity to our kitchens BA5 3ED (10/15 MILE RADIUS)

- An annual pay and performance review will be carried out to reflect performance, growth, and progression within the role.
- The position is full time, however the position could potentially be suitable as a part-time role for someone with a strong, proven track record within the industry.
